Marvel.com has provided fans with a preview of X-Men: Manifest Destiny #1 Preview. The art looks rather terrible - Karma’s yellow-y jaundiced skin is offensive but Emma Frost is still awesome (even though she looks pretty gross in this issue)…

The art looks rather terrible - Karma’s yellow-y jaundiced skin is offensive but Emma Frost is still awesome (even though she looks pretty gross in this issue). Even though it appears Emma is insulting Karma, my take is that she is trying to push Karma to her potentially high mutant power, similar to when Emma pushed Iceman to unlock his powers during the Generation X era.

I never knew that the X-Men were afflicted with hydrocephalus.
I thought the art was great. Much better than the generic comic book depiction of women (and men as well). Both Emma and Karma had their own distinct looks.
@NB - I saw the pencils, and i think the final product would look better with lighter inks.
