New site updates…woohoo!
Finally, Emma Frost’s comic book database comprising of some 400+ issues and 70+ titles is up and running. Check it out at emmafrostfiles.com/issues/ or click on the ‘Comics’ tab at the upper part of the page. The database is not complete, as Emma’s appearances are constantly growing and my laziness of adding information upon information contributes to this. Buuuut, at least we have the most complete list of Emma appearances out there!
EmmaFrostFiles.com’s search engine is finally working as well. Instead of using WordPress’ integrated search, I decided to use Google Custom Search, which, so far, is working out pretty fine. Try it out, get a feel for it - it opens in a popup though. Anyhow, enjoy.
I’ll go into more depth of this little icon
and what importance means later on. Basically, it will be some thing like this:
(1)
: Emma makes only a cover appearance, single-panel appearance, etc.
(2)
: Emma Frost has a minor role in this issue, such as a couple dialogue bubbles, etc.
(3)

: This is considered an average/regular issue for Emma. She is part of the cast of characters and makes a regular contribution to the story.
(4)

: The issue revolves around Emma or Emma makes a large contribution to the story, such as Astonishing X-Men’s Torn arc.
(5)

: This is a major issue for Emma. Issues such as Uncanny X-Men #129 (Emma’s first appearance), the death of the Hellions (Uncanny X-Men #286ish), Generation X #1 (when she joined and led a new team of mutants), or even Astonishing X-Men #1 (became headmistress of school).
Because it has been hard for me to keep up with the site’s reviews, Emma’s appearances, and, sometimes, news items (though I’m usually on top of that), I’ve been thinking about opening some positions for any volunteer work one might want to contribute to this site. Adrian has made contributions to this site, if you haven’t noticed, such as posting his own reviews for upcoming issues. You would have a job similar to his. If you’re interested, let me know. Keep in mind well-rounded writing skills are required to apply. :)

Looking good. It would also be nice if you could group and search the database according to importance in addition to title.
@NB - That sounds like a good idea. I’ll see if I can work that into the database.
