Description: LOVELORN (1 of 4): In the depths of his heartache over Kitty Pryde, Colossus goes looking for something– anything– to stop his pain…and finds a nightmare from the Old Country running rampant in the States. What’s their connection? Elsewhere, Angel and the Beast begin a worldwide quest gathering some of the most unique minds on Earth and run across a hero long thought dormant. Emma checks in to a hotel you have to see to believe while poor Scott sits idly by…oh, and then footage showing the Alaskan Massacre that kicked off MESSIAH COMPLEX is released to the media. Just another day in the life of the all new, all different X-MEN!
Marvel.com has this cover marked as Uncanny X-Men #504 and the other cover marked as #505. Either Marvel is wrong or all the other sites reporting the all female cover (#504) are wrong. Confusing, huh?

Nightcrawler calling Emma a “nasty girl” was out of character for him.
Scott telling Colossus to get over it?? UMMM….Hello? Who was the one who spent years upon years upon years brooding and angsting over Jean?
Matt Fraction’s run is definitely the worst compared to Austen’s and Milligan’s runs.
I’m more worried about Emma’s “missing memories” line. I don’t think there’s an Earth telepath strong enough to barge into her head and muck about without her knowing - - Pryor included.
On the other hand, I love Scott, and I’ve exhibited his same level of asshattery before (granted, it was with a friend who suffered a regular break-up, and not a magical space bullet), so I see where he’s coming from.
wow i love the artwork so far, i prefer Dodsons over lands anytime.
I have to agree that this author doesnt seem to fit the characters attitude at all, from how they are talking, especially Kurt and Scott.
