IGN.com interviewed Yost, writer of X-Force, and Swierczynski, writer of “Cable.” IGN asks if both Emma and Scott’s “secrets” will have any influence in the upcoming Messiah War:
IGN Comics: Cyclops has his secret team in X-Force and Emma has her Cabal. We know Matt Fraction is planning on addressing Emma’s Dark Reign role in Uncanny to some extent, but will that ever play a role in the Messiah storylines?
Yost: It’s all one story. Everyone has one goal – survival of a species. It’s a purity of mission that gets incredibly dirty.
Swierczynski: Everything ties together; there are no extra parts in the X-Story Machine.
