We’re Moving!

On average, EmmaFrostFiles.com receives about 30GB of monthly bandwidth transfer. Unfortunately, this causes too much CPU load for the LunarPages server, even though their offer promised an unlimited amount of bandwidth. Yes, this is how large hosting companies get to you: they charge a low monthly fee and promise unlimited bandwidth and disc space. When in reality, they don’t expect their customers to actually use a great deal of memory.

For quite some time, I’ve experienced a lot of downtime with EmmaFrostFiles.com, and it ticks me off! Anytime I do a lot of updating on the site, the servers will spaz out on me. This is not acceptable, thus the reason I’m switching to ezpzhosting.co.uk. They’re a small hosting company based in the UK, obviously. Their services cost me more money than what LunarPages charged, but you pay for what you get.

In the next few days, EmmaFrostFiles.com will be moving its servers. Downtime may occur within the next three days. Once everything is settled, the site should be up and running perfectly. Thanks!
