I’m highly intrigued that Paul Cornell will be writing Emma Frost. I’ve wanted to see him write Emma since he mentioned that she and Scott are his favorite couple.
On the other hand, the “Emma Frost has betrayed Cyclops and the rest of the X-Men” has become such a cliche. She probably will betray the X-Men, shag Namor while she’s at it, and then there will be OMG SURVIVOR’S GUILT WHAT DID I DO. …And then, she’ll go back to the X-Men. This is ridiculous.
Or, the solicit is lying, and she’s double crossing…like that one hasn’t been played before. Anyways, I hope Marvel has fun marketing instead of characterizing.
I can honestly say that I’m interested in what’s gonna happen. I doubt Emma’s gonna eat out of the palm of Osborn’s hand since she knows too much bout the Cabal.
totally off topic but

lol
I know, they tried to make her good, and now they try to make her a traitor, as ALWAYS and then as you say, the survivor guilt AGAIN, come on, what do they want?
I wish that Emma at the end be master mind of all the Dark Reign, kick Osbon’s ass, be with the Xmen as the true leader, or keep her Dark X men team and become the big hero that she is (and that the writers aparently don’t see).
Bendis has reiterated that he doesn’t plan on undoing Emma’s good streak.
Bendis doesn’t have much to do with Emma at the moment. He will not even write the DA parts of the crossover.
That said, there’s virtually no chance that Emma will turn “bad” again, at least not in the near future. She might move on to the Dark X-Men for quite some time though, but not because she has turned traitor. And I doubt survivor’s guilt will have anything to do whatsoever with Emma’s actions here.
Is it confirmed anywhere that Paul Cornell will be writing the Emma Frost part of this?
