Weekly Catchup (3)
I’ve been extremely busy, thus the reason why I haven’t posted anything in 10 days. Last week, my internal hard drive failed on me. I sent it to a local computer shop to get it fixed, hoping that they would recover the files inside my hard drive. Alas, the files could not be recovered, so they took out the old hard drive and switched it with a new one.
Ouch. And the fail at life hard drive only made me busier. I lost a 15 page research paper, several draft articles I was working on for my local newspaper, as well as many other valuables, such as Photoshop CS3, music, etc – you name it.
Anyways, I’m back online, so here’s all the stuff I missed posting the last week:

He may be a megalomaniacal psychopath, but Norman Osborn is a fair man. When he began his Dark Reign over the Marvel Universe, he wanted to do right by the mutant populace. He even came directly to one of their representatives, Emma Frost, and said, “Help me to help you.” All Norman asked for in return was that mutantkind not cause any problems for him… but that didn’t happen.

For Fraction, the only thing more fun that writing Osborn in “Dark Avengers/ Uncanny X-Men: Utopia” is playing the Iron Patriot off of the story’s huge cast of characters, particularly the X-Men. “Writing scenes with Norman and Emma Frost is great,” the writer said. “And my first Cyclops and Norman scene is a little like Pacino and Deniro’s scene in ‘Heat.’ - Dark Avengers/Uncanny X-Men: First Look
- Watch Wolverine & the X-Men, Episode 3 via Marvel.com
- X-Position: Chris Claremont
You should also not forget that as far as the X-Men are concerned, the Hellfire Club represents one of their most formidable adversaries. Emma’s still very much the White Queen and in no way even a nascent hero. As for what’s ahead for Shaw and Charley, that’s a (potential) story for the future.
That’s all!
