Seth Green Insults Emma Frost

Guest editor Seth Green writes a costume guide on EW.com for the San Diego Comic-Con.

Seth Green @ SDCCSITH LORD: All the weight-hiding benefits of a robe with the slimming power of black. A go-to if you tend to force-choke Hot Pockets more often than mouthy Admirals.

DOCTOR DOOM: Your cape gets smaller, but you still have full body coverage. If you can fit in the armor, the sculpted muscles will take care of the rest.

THE JOKER: You’re not going to win any points for originality, but you’re still technically wearing clothes.

SUPERMAN: We’re knocking on the door to spandex territory, but there are two layers over your crotch, and there’s a belt in there somewhere.

SPIDER-MAN: Now we’ve entered Spandex territory and are building a house there. We shouldn’t have to say this, but every crack and crevice will be visible. Proceed with caution.

VAMPIRELLA: Your naughty bits are all covered, but you’re still technically naked in most Southern states.

EMMA FROST: For professional models only, and even then your camel better have very small toes, if you get our drift….

PRINCE NAMOR, THE SUB-MARINER: There’s a reason this guy lives in the water. The only place this outfit would be remotely acceptable is at the beach.

DR. MANHATTAN: If you’ve got the guts, go with God, but remember to take into account the shrinkage you’ll experience when you’re relentlessly tasered by convention security.

    She does look like she’s wearing a diaper with that outfit. It looks much better when it’s designed as pants or shorts.

    I really like what she’s wearing now. (I’m mentally repressing that the whole Black Queen outfit exists at all.) The white roles really suit her. It makes her feel more ‘regal’.

    I really liked that costume, it was just so outrageous.

    But that cover was perhaps not the best interpretation of it :)

    You are right. Frak Quitely definately must keep away from Emma, that cover (and his work in New X-men in general) is HORRIBLE! (Just my opinion)
    The costume is… well she has better costumes like the Astonishing one, or that one that she wears in the Blinded by the Light story arc, even in her Black Queen costume she looks far better than this cover!

    @FoxxFire Art
    Agree she looks much better with pants, like in the Xmen Legends game.

    @Luis
    Even making it look like a more bikini bottom is better. The way it was drawn in that cover image made it appear as if a diaper. It rides so high on the waist and goes into micro shorts.

    I don’t think using a bikini bottom would have been better, that costume showed more than enough as it is, and there already is one mutant telepath walking around with a thong. That bottom was actually quite stylish, barring some unfortunate incidents.
