The Emma related parts are between these times:

    5:55 – 6:40
    9:45 – 11:50

For those who don’t want to listen to the whole 40 plus minutes of it.

Heh! Thanks. I didn’t even listen to it. :)

What ever happened to the Paul Cornell that liked Scott and Emma together so much that he was interested in seeing Emma be a mother?

@FoxxFire Art – Eh? Didn’t you listen to what he said? Does not seem like he has changed his mind to me.

Oh, he wasn’t supporting that idea of Namor. That’s good. I’d really like to understand what I have against Namor. Something about the guy bugs the hell out of me.
Guess I’ll give it a listen to then. At least the points you point out.

I’m having trouble with downloading podcasts for some reason. You wouldn’t happen to know anywhere I could find a text version.

  • NB

@FoxxFire Art – There is no text version unless someone goes to the trouble to transcribe it.

Have you tried right-clicking the “Click here for podcast” link and then selecting “Save As…”? That way you can play the podcast MP3 file in a media player of your choice instead of being at the mercy of whatever web browser plug-ins or registered applications you happen to have.

@NB – Damn, I was hoping for a text version. Thanks anyways.
I’ll give your tips a try, but could i ask if you could just give the basic gist of what he said on Emma?

  • NB

@FoxxFire Art – I don’t remember the details anymore, and it hardly matters much now as Cornell is probably not going to write anything more with Emma for quite a while.

Anyway, it was something about Namor’s and Emma’s raging passion for each other, and a comparison of Scott/Emma and Scott/Jean. For more you’ll have to download it and listen to it. At least the parts marked out in my first post here.

@NB – “raging passion for each other”? The way it was always portrayed was more like Emma was just manipulating Namor’s attraction for her for her own ends.

  • NB

@FoxxFire Art – Cornell said that, not I. He might or might not have been serious, but it did not sound like he was joking. Not that it matters, these things are up to Fraction at the moment.
