@Aimee - What reaction of Scott's was that? @Shark - That seems to be the case so far at least, he's not exactly have her do any outrageous feats after the omega announcement. Needing Xavier's help to get back into Sentry's mind and only managing to hold the Void back for less than a second even though she had prep (White Room made earlier) does not exactly scream omega to me. Well, unless Sentry/Void is omega squared perhaps. I'll start worrying when she flies around in space and blows up stars :)

I think Fraction’s making a distinction between an Omega Level Mutant and an Omega Class Telepath. I think it’s his own classy way of saying “psi of the highest order” or whatever, because Prof. X is also an Alpha level, but Emma refers to him as an Omega TELEPATH.

Or whatever, I don’t care anymore.

No, I’m annoyed by the comment both Marvel and Fraction made about Emma being stuck in diamond form and Scott’s reaction to it. The comment was rather sexist, as a matter of fact.

@Aimee - In a way it makes me think of Ruby in X-Factor, but I believe she was willingly staying in ruby form willingly, but got to the point that she had spent so much time in that form. She was afraid if she lowered it she would age those seventy years in seconds.

I think he knows that we (Emma’s fans) are angry at him for what is he doing in Uncanny, so he try to compensate that with the “omega-class telepath” thing. I’m sure that he expect that we jump on joy saying “Oh my god she’s an omega!”
But no, mr. Fraction, as Aimee and many others has say it, she’s not an omega, she’s powerfull telepath and her extraordinary powers and abilities doesn’t come with the level, they come with her flawless training and skill, that she has adquired since she discover that she is a mutant.

I don’t like the whole diamond thing, I mean she’s fun in her diamond form and I love that power, but her psionic powers are awesome.
Perhaps this could be a really interesting plot, but not in Fraction’s hands…

For the record, Emma Frost is NOT an “omega-class telepath.” Also, nevermind the fact that it will suck for Emma to be stuck in diamond form all the time. Ugh.
