Emma Frost in ‘New Mutants Forever’ Spin Off

Chris Claremont is interviewed about his run “X-Men Forever,” and he reveals that there will be a “New Mutants” spin off that is similar to his current run. Emma Frost will appear as the White Queen during the timeline when Magneto was also a member of the Hellfire Club:

Since the focus on the book is exclusively the New Mutants, the X-Men don’t show up at all. In contrast to “X-Men Forever,” for example, Magneto is alive and is headmaster of the School for Gifted Youngsters and is serving as one of the four Lords Cardinal of the Hellfire Club along with Shaw, Emma and Selene. So it’s consistent with the overall X-Men continuity, but it is not the same moment of continuity that “X-Men Forever” occurs in.

You can expect to see Emma Frost’s Hellions in the new series too.

    Will be interesting to see how Claremont writes the old HFC Emma at this point compared to the current 616-Emma.

    Well, Claremont did write New Mutants back in the old days, so it shouldn’t be too bad. Of all the the x-books out now, I actually like X-Men Forever.
