In Marvel Previews #77, Marvel released the cover of Uncanny X-Men #522, which features Emma Frost and a very special someone coming back (seriously, I hope Jean is coming back):

How do you expect Jean coming back to improve the X-line?

hmmm hopefully jean comes back but that doesnt make emma leave the team

You know, I actually like Jean Grey as a character. I think she’s pretty interesting and brings a lot of diversity to the x-lineup. I love her strong will, passion and personality, and I think that brings a lot to the team. The other thing is that the current X-comics suck, and I’d like to see just something interesting pick up once. And I can never get enough of the Emma/Scott/Jean drama. ;)

There have been rumors that Matt Fraction will leave Uncanny X-Men after the Second Coming crap, and Paul Cornell will take over. This, I hope is true. *crosses fingers*

@aimee: Well, sure, but if the problem is the writers/editors (as I assume you think), then bringing in a new/old character would hardly improve things. It’s not as if there’s been a lack of new characters on the team lately :)

I haven’t heard anything of the sort. Except for the usual baseless forum rumors. Fraction has already hinted at post-SC plans so I don’t think he will be leaving.

I agree it would be interesting to see what Paul Cornell would do, but I don’t see him writing Uncanny anytime soon. :(
