Matthew Vaughn to direct ‘X-Men: First Class’

Reports from various sources say that Matthew Vaughn will be directing “X-Men: First Class.”
Matthew Vaughn was the director of “Kick-Ass” and also signed onto an X-Men movie a few years back but dropped out.
“X-Men: First Class” is scheduled for a release date of June 3, 2011. The plot focuses on the beginnings of the X-Men, where Professor Xavier and Magneto were friends. Characters will include Cyclops, Jean Grey, and Beast. Emma Frost has not been mentioned as part of the plot, however, her appearance at the end of “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” makes it possible for her to appear in “X-Men: First Class.”
