So…who has Emma slept with?
According to fan base, Emma Frost has some "reputation" of sleeping around with hundreds of people. But if people actually research this, they will find that it's not as many as they believe it to be. And since most people really want to know, here's the one and only comprehensive list:
In order of...consummation...
= Romantic Relationship
1.
Sebastian Shaw - Sebastian and Emma's relationship wasn't directly mentioned in the early Uncanny days. But Emma has stated several times she used her sexuality to gain power, and Sebastian Shaw was one of her targets. They also shared a romantic relationship which was revealed in Uncanny X-Men #150-#151. As stated in Morrison's New X-Men, "Dear, Sebastian. He was so clueless."
2. Namor - Recently in 2009, Matt Fraction gave Emma and Namor quite a history together. Because the Hellfire Club needed new members, Sebastian Shaw invited Namor to join. Disgusted, Namor rejected the offer and headed back to Atlantis. Shaw ordered Emma Frost, who was rather attracted to Namor at the time, to persuade Namor into joining the newly formed Hellfire Club. Emma traveled to Atlantis and hooked up with Namor. But due to a Sentinel attack, Namor was further turned off by the Hellfire Club's offer and threatened to destroy the club if they ever contacted him again.
3. Tony Stark/Iron Man - Mark Miller suddenly decided to write something for kicks during the Civil War. In issue #3, Iron Man asked, "Tell me: Does Cyclops know about that little arrangement we used to have when neither of us were dating?"
Emma replied, "Oh, Cyclops knows everything, Tony. He can't keep secrets from my telepathic mind, so it's only fair that I don't keep anything from him."
4.
Scott Summers - Scott and Emma's relationship began in Grant Morrison's New X-Men. For the first time in very long time, Emma was very attracted to someone. She pursued the distraught man several times, only to be rejected. But Emma came up with a crafty idea that allowed the two to consummate psychically. Later on, the two developed a blossoming relationship that some fans claim to be one of the most complex and most interesting relationships.
1.
Troy Killkelly - Emma's first boyfriend and the sleezebag dishwasher guy she found after she left home. They kissed...and that's all we saw. He did say something like, "Can we do that again?" ...Who knows.
2.
Ian Kendell - They never did anything during their high schools years. He was a teacher, and she was a student. But they coincidentally crashed into each other during college. This time, Emma was a student - and a legal student - and Ian was a professor. (I'd love to know how Ian received an upgraded teaching job after he was fired for "sexually assaulting" a student in a prestigious high school.) Either way, Ian was probably one of Emma's silly little high school fantasies she needed to get over.
3.
(?) Doug - In X-Men Unlimited #4, Emma was invited to an old college friend's wedding. While Wolverine tagged along with Emma, their dialogue consistently mentioned of some "affair." Although, the context is highly questionably as to if it was a "mutant affair" (Emma keeping a secret that Doug was a mutant) or a sexual affair.
4. Kitty Pryde - Since the two characters' first appearances in Uncanny X-Men #129, Emma has had an obession with Kitty. Several times, Emma has attempted to capture Kitty and recruit the young mutants to the Hellions. One time, Emma did capture Kitty and a rather "subtexty" conversation ensued between the two in New Mutants #15 (volume 1).
5. Magneto - Emma attempted to take advantage of Magneto's emotionally weakened state during New Mutants, in hopes that she and Magneto would knock Sebastian and Selene out of the Hellfire Club's council. This was a failed attempt, as Magneto saw through Emma's deception. Still, you never know what happens behind-the-panels.
6. Sean Cassidy (Banshee) - Much tension - sexual or not - was written between Emma and Banshee during Generation X. Although the two were co-workers, they constantly bickered over both trite and significant issues. Some fans interpret their fighting as sexual tension while others believe Emma just loved to pick on Banshee. However, no romantic scenes were shown between Emma and Banshee.
7. Bobby Drake (Iceman) - The second body Emma inhabited was Iceman of the X-Men. When Emma lost her Hellions, she freaked out and entered the mind of Iceman. She took over his body and used his powers in ways Iceman never imagined. After Emma joined Generation X, Iceman asked her for help on his powers. He flirted with her several times, and she simply returned his flirtations as completely aloof.
8. Bruce Gotham - In X-Men Unlimited #42, Emma wanted some fun in Monte Carlos, so she mind controlled a man to give her a necklace. Some people believe Emma did this out of pure fun (thanks to prozacpark for the clarification), while others believe Emma actually slept with the man. This was just before her travel to Genosha actually (probably a few months before she joined the X-Men).
9. Jean Grey - Well, Emma has been inside Jean's body before, no pun intended. And in Grant Morrison's New X-Men, the two had a feud like none other. Perhaps behind all their anger stands a very personal relationship between the two. At least, some fans think so.
Then, we have the possibility of all those one night stands, such as Bruce Gotham (*cough*Batman*cough*) for example.
This would be the correct order of consummation when both confirmed and speculated are included:
1.
Troy Killkelly
2.
Ian Kendell
3.
(?) Doug
4.
Sebastian Shaw
5. Namor
6. Iron Man

10. Iceman
11. Bruce Gotham
12.
