What’s up with Emma and the color white?

Emma Frost's - shall we say? - "obsession" with the color white was revealed in Emma Frost #1:

So, yes, Emma's inspiration for the color white was her beloved brother Christian. Although, she didn't actually start wearing the white until her "Hellfire Days," we can safely assume she wore white in homage to her brother.
