Yeah, awesome cover, Cho! You can thank me for scanning this.

IGN.com has a preview of the long awaited Giant Size Astonishing X-Men #1!!!
With Final Crisis coming and Secret Invasion in full swing, sometimes it's easy to overlook some of the classics that are right around the corner. For the past several years Joss Whedon and John Cassaday have wowed X-Men fans with their spectacular take on Xavier's students. Taking place in an unspecified point in continuity, their critically-hailed run is now coming to a close, with the fates of Breakworld and certain characters to be revealed. Many fans have pointed to references in recent comics as likely spoilers for the hyped death that is said to occur in this issue. If Marvel's schedule holds true (and seeing completed art does tend to give some support to that idea), fans will find out on May 21, 2008.
Whedon is throwing everything and everyone into this last stand, as the X-Men attempt to stop what amounts to a giant bullet aimed directly at Earth. The solicited cover indicated more than just mutants would pitch in, and our exclusive pages confirm that. Spidey, the Fantastic Four and more are uniting to save the Earth once again. And while we've already seen Danger enter the Breakworld arc, fans will likely be amused/thrilled/surprised to see another villain used in Whedon's earlier arcs.
Before we get to the arc, here's Marvel's official description of the issue. Note that the book carries a price tag of $4.99.
" Too big to be contained in a normal issue, the grand finale of Joss Whedon (Buffy, Firefly) and John Cassaday's (CAPTAIN AMERICA, Planetary) landmark run is right here! The powerlords of Breakworld bring the fight to Earth. Can the X-Men stop them from destroying the whole planet? Will the Avengers join their fight? What we do know is this: one of the X-Men won't walk away from this fight. Plus spotlight interviews with Whedon and Cassaday!"
Hang in there X-fans. Your wait is almost over.

Nick Lowe and Christopher Yost are interviewed in CBR's X-Position: Divided We Stand Book One. Emma Frost is briefly mentioned in this interview:
Obviously, Vic and Julian aren't happy with their current situations and put the blame on the X-Men. Did Scott and Emma believe that separating the students (and leaving them to their own devices) as a necessary evil? Or are they just overlooking the details while thinking of the big picture plans?
Lowe: I’d say your latter guess would be closer.
Yost Everything Scott Summers does is for the greater good.

The White Queen Skrull makes an appearance in Secret Invasion #2:
Keep in mind that the "real" Emma Frost, the one we see in Astonishing X-Men, Uncanny X-Men, etc., is so far, not a Skrull! The White Queen Skrull we see here is the wannabe who just crash landed into Earth. So in summary, Emma Frost's continuity is so far safe!!Secret Invasion #2
Writer: Brian Michael Bendis
Artist: Leinil Francis Yu
Description: The Invasion is here!! The Marvel Universe is in shambles. The Skrull Empire`s plan has birthed itself into perfection. It is hero versus hero!! Resurrections and reunions!! Is Tony Stark a Skrull? And is that actually Captain America leading the heroes into a new era?? EXPECT CHANGE!!
